- Gail's Bakery
Our favourite thing to do on Sunday - loose leaf tea and a pain au chocolat for Adi, cappucino for Phil www.gailsbread.co.uk/ - Ping Pong Dim Sum
After visiting Bangkok we weren't sure this would be a family restaurant if you know what we mean. Turns out Ping Pong is a modern version of a Chinese tea house, with the most delicious dim sum ('little steamed parcels of deliciousness') and sophisticated cocktails on offer (as well as an impressive tea menu) and not a ping pong ball in sight. Service is swift and friendly. We love the one in St Christopher's Place.

- Manon coffee shop, Fleet Street
Super efficient barista girls churn out the best flat whites on Fleet Street. The little praline choccies are hard to turn down.
- Coffee Cake, Crouch End
Check out this totally gorgeous, stop-and-stare display of meringues, cakes, bakes, pastries, salads, quiches and tarts at this little boulangerie in our neighbourhood. They happen to make fantastic coffee (illy). Love the minimal exposed brick interior too. We got in trouble for taking these pictures, they were probably scared we'd publish it on our blog...oops.
- Borough Wines! These guys always have time to listen to us rave about South African wines, and there's always something good up for tasting. Couldn't resist taking a photo of these ones. Take your own bottle and fill it up straight from the keg here. Most cool. The Frenchman scoffed at us when we said we had our wine supply for the week (more like the day, said he, followed by 'Ignore me. I'm French - I'm rude.') http://www.boroughwines.com/
- Borough Market. Check out this moerse Thai green curry. Mmmmm. Also where you'll find the best coffee at Rabon. People queue to order and then wait for 10 minutes for a takeaway, that's how good it is.
